Vermilion Okegawa Armor & Helmet

This
beautiful “vermillion” Yoroi suit is modeled
after the battle armor worn by the Shogun during the
increasingly turbulent times of the 1500’s. It
is brought back to life by our skilled artisans, who
meticulously shape each piece by hand.The helmet is
made out of 12 hand-crafted iron plates. Each plate
has a slightly different figuration to be finished as
a perfect shaped helmet. The body armor is also constructed
with some iron pieces by an artisan. This body is called
the Okegawa that means it has 4x2 iron plates.
This
historical armor set, suitable to display or wear, consists
of the Kabuto, Yoroi and Kogusoku parts and accessories
you see listed in the charts below. Any of the traditional
Japanese family crests from our
list can also be added to the armor’s chest
for free. Your armor will also come in a black lacquered
wooden storage box that doubles as a beautiful stand
for you to proudly display your Yoroi.

size, we would be happy to offer you our custom sizing
service to ensure a perfect fit. A slight fee (up to
30% of the listed price) may be charged, depending on
your measurements. It will take 1 to 2 additional weeks
to complete a custom sized suit of armor. |
