The Ultimate Work Of Iron
Toyotomi Hideyoshi (豊臣 秀吉, February 2, 1536 or March 26, 1537 – September 18, 1598) was a daimyo warrior, general and politician of the Sengoku period.[1] He unified the political factions of Japan. He succeeded his former liege lord, Oda Nobunaga, and brought an end to the Sengoku period. The period of his rule is often called the Momoyama period, named after Hideyoshi's castle. He is noted for a number of cultural legacies, including the restriction that only members of the samurai class could bear arms. Hideyoshi is regarded as Japan's second "great unifier". ( more )This Yoroi is the faithful reproduction of Taikō Toyotomi Hideyoshi's most famous suit of armor featuring the remarkable Toukan style helmet with "Baren" horse cables or teasel-shaped head horns. This suit's body armor is constructed by hand, using multiple iron pieces, genuine leather, beautiful silk lacings and elaborately crafted chainmail. This Yoroi comes with all parts and accessories listed in the charts below, and can be worn, if desired.
