Prologue:
JODO that means a oak stick kendo is one of the Japanese precious traditional martial arts. However, since there are few books regarding Jodo, it is not widely known. Indeed, there have been calls from every direction to have a guide to Jodo published. It is our desire to leave this book so future generations can have Jodo without any errors. That even beginners might easily understand it, continuous pictures of techniques are used , with clear explanations. If the directions in this book are followed for Jodo practice, young and old, male and female alike can become knowledgeable and proficient in Jodo with confidence.
