I could not be more pleased with it. The photos on your site
do not do it justice, and the weight and balance are perfect.
The craftsmanship is absolutely excellent, as was your customer
service. I feel very secure in using such a fine weapon for
training, and look forward to putting it to use. There truly
is no substitute for an authentic Japanese sword, be it a training

I'm a bit of a learner at Iaido, currently practising ZNKR for
the last 3 months. I ordered myself the Masamune blade, Masanuki
tsuka and tsuba with black ito and black same. I had the blade
at 2.5 shaku and the tsuka at 12 inches.
The Iaito is a great peice, points well and is fantastically
well made. I'm very happy with it. It arrived quickly and without
problems (to merry England no less). Highly recommended to all.

This was my first iaito, it's excelent for begginers practice,
heavy and solid it's difficult to handle but it will make you
grow stronger in the practice of iaido, I live in Venezuela
and practice there, in my dojo there are different kinds of
iaitos, but definitely, the better quality and the real japanese
katana of samurai-store were the reasons I bougth other iaitos
from them, my actual iaito is the Tadayoshi...

I bought my first iaito sword from Samurai-store.com, a muramasa,
after I had been practicing Ishi yama ryu battojitsu for about
six months. Since then I have been extremely pleased and impressed
with instrument they created for me. The iaito has excellent
weight and balance, useful for practicing both forms and for
endurance training. The tachikaze is low pitched, however, so
at times easy to miss, but it forces you to work harder to ensure
that you observe the proper pre and post cut positions and to
follow a good line of the cut. The fittings are both practical
and, though this is merely my opinion, aesthetically pleasing.
I would highly recommend Samurai-store.com to all prospective
sword buyers.

I practice ZNKR and Muso Shinden ryu Iaido. The iaito has served
it's purpose very well and has been durable enough to withstand
heavy use wonderfully. It has a bit more heft to it than many
iaito in the price range which is actually a benefit to form
for ZNKR type kiriorishi. Most definately worth the very reasonable
price.
