sword had been dreaded as a magical sword between Tokugawa
Shoguns for long years in Edo era. This sword is modeled on
one of his famous swords. This is for non-cutting prctice
with no sharp razor edge. The handle braid
and the knot is made of brown cotton but it can be changed
to some other colors. You can choose the length of the blade
for your height or skill. |

I bought my first iaito sword from Samurai-store.com,
a muramasa, after I had been practicing Ishi yama ryu battojitsu
for about six months. Since then I have been extremely pleased and
impressed with instrument they created for me. The iaito has excellent
weight and balance, useful for practicing both forms and for endurance
training. The tachikaze is low pitched, however, so at times easy
to miss, but it forces you to work harder to ensure that you observe
the proper pre and post cut positions and to follow a good line
of the cut. The fittings are both practical and, though this is
merely my opinion, aesthetically pleasing. I would highly recommend
Samurai-store.com to all prospective sword buyers.
